Founded by Sam Waller over 12 years ago, Glass Monkey has become a trusted name in both residential and commercial window cleaning throughout Roanoke, Virginia. Sam started the business in downtown Roanoke with a focus on commercial clients, using an innovative custom-designed bike to transport his window washing equipment. His eco-friendly approach not only reduced his environmental impact but also allowed him to offer more competitive pricing. Today, Sam maintains over 100 commercial clients in the area, providing regular monthly or weekly cleanings.

Glass Monkey has since expanded to offer residential window cleaning, utilizing a fleet of electric custom-built bikes to serve Roanoke and the surrounding areas. Whether you’re a homeowner or a business, Glass Monkey is committed to delivering top-quality service with a smile. All employees are professionally trained, uniformed, and share an obsession with making your windows spotless.

We pride ourselves on offering free estimates for both residential and commercial projects. Our services are fully insured and bonded for your peace of mind, and we accept cash, check, or credit card payments. To help you save, we also offer bi-annual and quarterly cleaning plans tailored to your needs.

Sam is deeply passionate about his work at Glass Monkey.   • We serve over 100 commercial customers around the Roanoke area. These include; Six and Sky Rooftop Grille, Center In the Square, Pinnacle Bank, Freedom First Credit Union, Wells Fargo, Brady's Distillery, and many many more recognizable businesses that trust US to provide a clean window to the outside.

  • My mission began on a custom designed 10 speed bike. Outfitted with all the tools I needed to offer a competitively priced service while reducing my impact on the environment. Plus, it's a great workout. As we added more and more clients and expanded our service area, we added electric bikes to expand our reach. While effective and environmentally friendly.

  • Often times we can offer a quote over the phone. If you have specific needs or highly custom windows, we may ask that you send us a picture for any unique requests. FaceTime or video calls are also available for anyone that requests.

  • Often times with windows that haven't been professionally cleaned, they will have tape, paint, bug guts, or other material that is otherwise difficult to remove. We are professionals and we can use a commercial blade scraper to remove these stubborn distractions.

  • Yes, we are fully insured with workers compensation, general liability, as well as bonded. We can provide a COI for anyone that requests a copy.

  • While we focus primarily on the Roanoke and surrounding areas, we also travel. Assisting our electric bike fleet, we have a vehicle and trailer that extends our services to Salem, Botetourt, Bedford and Vinton.
